General Interest
Sporting philosophy / motto "Our sport is unique in that it requires two athletes, the horse and the rider. It takes, in my opinion, about 20 years to train an Olympic rider and at least 15 years of competition experience. To train an Olympic horse it takes 10 years, with five years of high-level training from seven to 12-years-old, except in exceptional cases." (echeval.fr, 20 Dec 2007)
Other information STABLES She runs the Manege d'Evordes stables in Croix-de-Rozon, Switzerland. She trains horses in jumping and coaches riders at the facility. "Like any business, you have to be rigorous, smart, and able to understand a lot of things. There is obviously the horse management, but also invoices, wages, personnel, inventory, vehicles, equipment, and suppliers." (Facebook team page, 03 Apr 2023; lemanbleu.ch, 12 Dec 2022; evordes.ch, 01 Jan 2017; hebdo.ch, 05 Dec 2013) FROM FRANCE TO SWITZERLAND She previously represented France. In 2011 she moved to Geneva, Switzerland, and began competing for Switzerland in 2012. She is eligible to represent Switzerland through her mother. (grandprix-replay.com, 16 Jan 2012)
